Designer and Consultant 1984 Olympics
Designed the plan for the City of Long Beach, working with Pamela Magette, Marketing Director. Designed and adapted the Long Beach Spirit flag for hand constructed site specific flags and banners for the Long Beach Plaza, the Promenade, and Shoreline Drive. In addition 500 colorful flags were designed and installed along the downtown streets, coordinated with the color scheme selected by the designers of LAOOC and each district design plan. While the flags flying along the city streets were part of an auction, the 60 hand constructed flags and banners remained at the sites after the 1984 Olympic Games.
